There is no statistics available to determine the exact ratio of adults and children, but it seems around 30-50% workers are children. They don’t have any other options other than work for money and help their family. IMRAN is a 13 years old boy from the Patuakhali district who works in an aluminum factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This kind of factory work is very common in Bangladesh where different kinds of pot and jars are made from aluminum. Among the workers, many are children under the age of 15.
